Dentro del programa de actividades con los alumnos de primaria más pequeños (1º-2º), realizamos sesiones para conocer mejor y cuidar nuestros libros.

Por un lado, explorando y conociendo las distintas partes de un libro físicamente, así como sus nombres y funciones (lomo, cubierta, portada, contracubierta, etc.).

Por otro, indagamos sobre el contenido de los mismos, hablando y descubriendo todas las perosnas que hacen faltan para realizar un libro, es decir, desde que alguien en su casa escribe la historia, hasta que lo podemos comprar en una librería. Aprendemos a valorar y respetar el trabajo no sólo del autor, sino también del ilustrador, editor, impresor, etc. También en esta actividad nuestros alumnos más jóvenes aprenden a distiguir en la portada cuál es el título y la colección, quién es el escritor y el ilustrador, o dónde aparece la editorial.

Una actividad básica para su formación como usuarios de biblioteca, como lectores e indagadores.
